Who We Are

Steve Dallal

Steve Dallal is the owner of Americas Capital Advisors, a residential real estate development company, and its construction company subsidiary, Cadco Corp. His involvement with the real estate business dates to 1980 when he worked as a construction manager on a 10 thousand square foot historic renovation in Richmond Virginia. A 20 year resident of southern Westchester county in New York, he has been developing residential real estate and building houses in the area since 1997. Working for Continental Bank for 11 years in Chicago, Mexico City and New York he was a construction lender, a "work- out" specialist, and a merchant banker specializing in Latin American private equity inverstments. He has a BA from McGill University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Kathy Ford, A.I.A.

A New York licensed architect with her practice in Amherst MA Ford Gillen Architects, Kathy was our architect for the School Lane, Cohawney Road and Sherman projects. She has a wonderful sense of design and is comitted to the often lengthy process of hammering out plans that make us all comfortable. She has a BA from Hobart and Willam Smith Colleges and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.

Barbara Moss Design, Katonah, New York

Barbara was the interior designer for the Sherman project. She had primary responsibility for the kitchen, lighting, hardware, paint colors, and front foyer. She also provided valuable input in nearly all interior design areas, especially the master bedroom suite.

Tim Gardner

Tim's contribution to our efforts has grown steadily over the past three years. On the Sherman project he designed, and people under his supervision installed: radiant heat infrastructure everywhere as well as the boiler and controls; the AC and fresh air system; all communications systems; the sound system. We refer to him as the guardian of all that lies behind the walls. He also has been de-facto a second, valuable, project supervisor. His background includes teaching, computer programming and software design. He has a BA from Harvard College and he has done graduate work in Computer Science at NYU. Tim runs the software development company codeHorse, Inc. which specializes in web-based databases.

Nicolas Garcia

Nicolas has worked with Cadco for seven years. A gifted stone mason he also manages demolition, excavation, all masonry activities, wood refinishing and any number of responsibilities that fall between the cracks. All of the stone work, patios, fireplaces, and wine cellars, pictured have been made by Nicolas and people working under his supervision. On the Sherman project he also installed all of the bath and kitchen tile work.

Mike Feenan

Mike and his crews have done all of our framing for the past seven years. Trained as both a framer and trim carpenter he has an uncommon eye for detail. He and his people work hard, fast and solve inumerable problems early while they are still small. Mike also acts as a valuable set of eyes and ears in many areas outside of his immediate responsibility. In addition to framing, all of the trim work and kitchen/ bath cabinet installation on the Sherman project was done by Mike and his men.

Ron Giannotti

Ronnie has been the master electrician for all of our projects for the last seven years. He knows his trade and understands the level of quality that we strive for. He is another experienced set of eyes and ears who looks, beyond his own immediate area of responsibility, at the project as a whole.

David Batchie

David, a master plumber, has worked with us for the past three years. He has twenty plus years of experience and has shown himself to be adaptable to many new practices and materials.
